Kafanchan, Kaduna State — The Kaduna State College of Nursing (KDSCON), Kafanchan, has officially handed over the site for the construction of a Multipurpose Lecture Theatre to AA Said Investments Ltd, marking the commencement of a major infrastructure upgrade facilitated by Hon. Daniel Amos, Member representing the Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency.
The brief handover ceremony, held earlier today and led by Dr. Ephraim Dyages, Deputy Provost of the College, signifies a significant milestone in the actualization of an educational development initiative aimed at strengthening academic infrastructure in the institution.
The project forms part of a ₦1 billion educational infrastructure intervention captured in the 2025 Appropriation Act, passed by the National Assembly to enhance the learning environment and expand institutional capacity across tertiary institutions.
AA Said Investments Ltd was represented by its Managing Director, Mr. A.A. Said, alongside members of the company’s technical team. Representing Hon. Daniel Amos was Hon. Habila Yohanna, Senior Legislative Aide to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, who led other aides of the Honourable Member to the site handover event.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Dyages lauded the intervention, describing it as a timely contribution to the College’s growth, and assured of the management’s full cooperation with the contractors to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
The development reinforces Hon. Daniel Amos’ commitment to improving educational standards and infrastructure within his constituency. In addition to the lecture theatre, the College is expected to undergo comprehensive renovation of key facilities in the coming months.
