Liverpool's Darwin Nunez Nears €53m Move to Al Hilal, Clearing Path for Isak Bid
Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez is reportedly close to sealing a transfer to Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal in a deal worth an initial €53 million, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Nunez, who joined Liverpool from Benfica for €75 million three years ago, has struggled to justify his hefty price tag. Despite scoring 40 goals in 143 appearances, the 26-year-old Uruguayan has fallen down the pecking order under both former manager Jurgen Klopp and current boss Arne Slot.
His departure could open the door for the Premier League champions to launch a renewed bid for Newcastle United's Alexander Isak
