Tinubu Returns to Abuja After 3-Day State Visit to Brazil

ABUJA — President Bola Ahmed Tinubu returned to Abuja at about 1:20 a.m. on Thursday following a three-day state visit to Brazil that produced several bilateral agreements and high-level engagements aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s economic and diplomatic relations with South America’s largest economy.

The President, who arrived aboard the presidential jet, was received at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport by top political leaders and senior government officials.

Those on hand to welcome him included Governors Caleb Mutfwang (Plateau), Uba Sani (Kaduna), Hope Uzodinma (Imo), and AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara).
