Category: News |

Oba Joseph Oloyede, the “Apetu” of Ipetumodu, has been sentenced to 56 months in prison in the United States after being found guilty of misusing $4.2 million in COVID-19 relief funds.

Following this, Prince Gbenga Joseph Oloyeda was installed as the new Apetumode, with the approval of the Governor of Osun State.

This case shows how traditional authority, public responsibility, and legal consequences can intertwine in modern governance.
