Nigeria TV Info — Iran, European Powers to Resume Nuclear Talks in Geneva

Nuclear negotiations between Iran and three European powers—Britain, France, and Germany—are set to take place on Tuesday in Geneva, according to Iranian state media.

State television announced on Monday that the talks, which will also involve the European Union, will be held at the level of deputy foreign ministers. The discussions are part of ongoing efforts to address issues surrounding the 2015 nuclear deal.

This will be the second round of talks since Iran’s 12-day conflict with Israel in mid-June, during which the United States carried out strikes on Tehran’s nuclear facilities. The previous meeting took place in Istanbul on July 25.

The Geneva meeting is expected to test diplomatic resolve as tensions remain high in the region.
