Tinubu Embarks on Two-Nation Working Visit to Japan, Brazil

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will today depart Abuja for a two-nation working visit to Japan and Brazil.

According to a statement issued on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President will make a brief stopover in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), before proceeding to Japan.

While in Japan, President Tinubu will participate in the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9), scheduled to hold in Yokohama from August 20 to 22. The conference will bring together African leaders, development partners, and Japanese officials to discuss strategies for accelerating Africa’s economic growth and fostering stronger international cooperation.

The President is also expected to visit Brazil for high-level bilateral engagements aimed at deepening economic, trade, and diplomatic ties between both nations.
