Nigeria TV Info reports:

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested the founder and General Overseer of The Turn of Mercy Church, Prophet Adefolusho Aanu Olasele, also known as Abbas Ajakaiye, for allegedly masterminding multiple illicit drug shipments into Nigeria.

According to NDLEA officials, the cleric was apprehended following an extensive investigation linking him to several cross-border drug trafficking operations. The agency disclosed that Prophet Olasele’s arrest is part of a broader crackdown on criminal networks involved in the smuggling of narcotics into the country.

Authorities say intelligence reports and surveillance led to the interception of various drug consignments linked to the church leader. While investigations are ongoing, NDLEA has vowed to prosecute all individuals found complicit in the illegal trade.

The arrest has sparked mixed reactions among members of the public, with some expressing shock over the allegations against the religious leader.
