Nigeria TV Info report:

Iranian authorities on Wednesday confirmed the execution of Roozbeh Vadi, a man convicted of spying for Israel by allegedly leaking sensitive information related to a nuclear scientist who was assassinated during a recent conflict with Israel.

According to the Iranian judiciary's official outlet, Mizan Online, Vadi was hanged after his sentence was upheld by the Supreme Court. He was accused of passing classified details to Israel about a nuclear scientist who was killed during the 12-day war between Iran and the Israeli government in June.

The judiciary did not disclose the identity of the slain scientist but emphasized that the espionage activities were linked to what it called "the Zionist regime's recent aggression."

This execution comes amid heightened tensions between the two countries following military escalations and concerns over Iran's nuclear capabilities. Iranian authorities continue to claim that foreign intelligence services, particularly Mossad, have been involved in targeting key figures within its nuclear and defense programs.
