The Nigerian Army has reported significant breakthroughs in its ongoing fight against terrorism, with troops eliminating multiple terrorists and arresting several suspects in coordinated, intelligence-led operations across various regions of the country. According to a statement released in Abuja by the Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Lt.-Col. Appolonia Anele, the operations, which took place between July 22 and 24, led to the neutralisation of seven terrorists, arrest of 10 criminal suspects, and surrender of 19 family members of terrorists. Additionally, troops recovered various arms, ammunition, and essential logistics equipment across different military theatres. These achievements highlight the military's renewed resolve to secure the nation and dismantle terror networks.
