ADC Slams APC Over Celebration of Judges’ Housing Project

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC) for celebrating the provision of housing for judicial officers, describing the action as inappropriate and politically motivated. The opposition party argued that providing accommodation and welfare support for judges is a constitutional responsibility of government and should not be presented as a political achievement deserving of excessive praise.

In a statement issued by party officials, the ADC maintained that the judiciary plays a crucial role in safeguarding democracy and the rule of law, stressing that judges deserve adequate working conditions, security, and housing without political interference.
