The Federal Government has officially revoked all previously granted approvals for developments within national corridors, ecological zones, coastal roads, shorelines, and the Lagos Lagoon corridor. This action follows a directive from President Bola Tinubu, instructing an immediate stop to all unauthorized developments in these sensitive areas. According to the Surveyor General of the Federation, Adeyemi Adebomehin, this directive enforces strict compliance with development control regulations and nullifies any prior planning permits that may have been issued for such zones.
