Tinubu: Terrorism Giving Nigerians Sleepless Nights, We’ll Overcome Them All

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has acknowledged that terrorism and insecurity are causing widespread fear and sleepless nights for many Nigerians, assuring citizens that his administration remains fully committed to defeating all security threats.

Speaking during a recent engagement with security chiefs and community leaders, Tinubu said the activities of terrorists, bandits, kidnappers and other criminal elements have disrupted lives, livelihoods and national development. He noted that the government understands the pain of affected families and communities and will not relent until peace is restored across the country.

The President disclosed that his administration is strengthening intelligence gathering, improving inter-agency cooperation and equipping the armed forces and security agencies with modern tools to confront evolving threats. According to him, recent security operations have recorded notable gains, including the dismantling of terrorist cells and the rescue of abducted victims in some parts of the country.

Tinubu also called on Nigerians to support security agencies by providing timely and credible information, stressing that security is a collective responsibility. He reaffirmed his confidence in the nation’s military and security personnel, praising their sacrifices and resilience in the face of danger.

“We may be going through difficult times, but we will overcome them all,” the President assured, adding that his government remains focused on building a safer, stronger and more united Nigeria.
