Nigeria’s President has announced that Brazil’s state-owned oil company, Petrobras, is preparing to resume oil operations in Nigeria after years of absence.

The move is expected to boost Nigeria’s oil sector, strengthen bilateral economic ties, and attract new foreign investment.

In addition, discussions are underway to launch a direct flight route between Lagos and São Paulo, enhancing trade, tourism, and cultural exchange between Africa and South America.
