The Nigerian military has successfully rescued 76 hostages, including women and children, during a covert operation in Kankara, Katsina State. The mission involved precise airstrikes targeting armed groups responsible for multiple kidnappings in the region.

According to military officials, one child sadly lost their life during the rescue, while the remaining captives were safely freed and are receiving medical care and counseling.
